Cookies and browser storage
We only use technical cookies, needed for you to play and to protect the site, and your browser's local storage to remember your preferences. No profiling or third-party cookies: that's why there's no banner.

2. Browser storage

| dwyf.live.voted | Votes you already cast as a spectator, so you can't vote twice. |
| dwyf.clearance.* | When you last passed or were shown the security check, so it can be renewed before it runs out. |
| dwyf-rejoin-hidden (session) | You hid the "rejoin your game" reminder; cleared when the tab closes. |
| dwyf:ai-quality | The quality you picked for the automatic scene analysis in the Pack Creator. |
| dwyf.admin.* | Staff only: how you left the control room's menu (narrow or wide, which groups are open). |
| transformers-cache (browser cache) | The library and models of the automatic scene analysis, if you used it, so they aren't downloaded every time. |
This stays on your device, even when you sign out: clear it in your browser settings; the preferences alone can also be cleared with "Reset settings" in Settings → Account.
3. Third parties
We use no third-party analytics, advertising or social plugins. Our own visit statistics run on our server and use no cookies or browser storage (see the Privacy notice). Fonts are served from our own server. When you sign in with Discord or Google their sign-in pages may use their own cookies under their policies; when the site shows your Discord or Google profile picture, your browser loads it from their servers.
To keep bots out we use Cloudflare Turnstile: when you create your profile, sign in, create or join a room, or watch a game as a spectator, your browser loads a short check from challenges.cloudflare.com, which looks at technical signals from the browser and isn't used to profile you.
If you use the automatic scene analysis in the Pack Creator, your browser downloads the library from cdn.jsdelivr.net and the models from huggingface.co and keeps them in its cache (next time the analysis may start by itself); it runs on your device and the audio isn't sent.
4. Why there's no banner
Technical cookies don't need consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Garante's guidelines of 10 June 2021): this notice is enough. If we ever add non-technical cookies we will ask first, with a banner that lets you refuse them.
5. Changes to this notice
The site's admins may update this notice at any time, for example when we add or remove cookies, browser storage keys or third-party services. The version in force is always the one published on this site, with its date at the top of the page: please check back periodically. If we add cookies or tools that need consent, we ask you first, with the option to refuse.
